VPC

Double Case Pumps

The VPC vertical turbine, double casing pump is a diffuser type, single or multistage design for services with limited NPSH available. Flowserve VPC pumps are one of the world’s most comprehensive lines of mixed-flow, diffuser-style, double-case vertical turbine pumps. Available in single or multistage construction, as well as standard and ISO 13709/API 610- compliant designs, VPC pumps incorporate the proven hydraulics of the Flowserve VTP vertical turbine, wet-pit pump into a double-casing configuration. They are designed for continuous duty applications and are particularly well suited for services with limited NPSH available. Multiple design configurations and broad hydraulic coverage ensure you get a cost-effective solution that precisely meets your application requirements.

WUC

Double Case Pumps

Compliant with ISO 13709/API 610 (VS6), the Flowserve WUC vertical turbine is a radial flow or axial flow type, multistage, heavy-duty double casing pump. It is designed for continuous un-spared duty at a variety of high-pressure services, operating at temperature extremes and handling difficult liquids.

  • This is combined with specific design features, including stiff shaft construction, a self-contained axial thrust bearing housing and pressure containing parts certified to various international standards
  • This makes the WUC to the pump of choice for most critical applications where space considerations or marginal NPSHa values preclude the use of a horizontal pump
  • Special designed WUC pumps are capable to handle cryogenic liquids (like Methane, Ethylene, LNG, LPG, etc.) down to -200°C (-328°F)
  • For exceptionally low NPSHa applications the WUC can be equipped with an inducer; double suction impellers are available for selected hydraulics
  • The full API 610 compliant WUC will be engineered to customer specifications, is designed to meet all material requirements and will perfectly meet the selected service conditions

APKD

The double case APKD features an innovative, double suction impeller in a true twin-volute design that produces more flow and higher head at lower NPSHR and can operate at higher speeds than conventional vertical turbine pump models.
