6″ Submersible Motors

Franklin’s 6-inch submersible motors are typically used in large demanding water wells requiring high flow rates or deeper installations. These motors are tough, built to last, and come in a variety of construction options.

6″ Volt-X Submersible Motors

Franklin’s 6-inch submersible motors are typically used in large, demanding water wells requiring high flow rates or deeper installations. These motors are tough, built to last and come in a variety of construction options.

6-inch Volt-X motors are built with a unique dual voltage feature offering power supply flexibility. The motors utilize an innovative voltage change device that allows the motor to be connected for operation in either 230 V or 460 V, three-phase, 60 Hz power supplies. The voltage exchange device has been meticulously developed for ease of removal and a watertight seal every time.

6″ DR56 Submersible Motors

Pumping applications are rapidly changing – and Franklin’s DR56 motor was designed and built in response to many requests for a motor that can operate effectively under these evolving application demands.

The DR56 6 inch motor utilizes our premium encapsulation process to allow continuous operation in water temperatures of up to 50 °C (provided minimum allowable rates of flow past the motor are maintained).

6″ MagForce High Efficiency Motor System

MagForce™

The MagForce High Efficiency Motor System is a high-performance alternative to a traditional induction motor and control, providing electrical cost savings via a 90 percent motor efficiency rating that is 10-12 percent higher than previous submersible motor designs. The system offers a typical investment payback of less than two years in long- or continuous-run applications* at a 100 percent duty cycle. Permanent magnet technology allows three distinct models to cover pump horsepower ratings from 7.5 to 60 – maximizing contractor flexibility.
